Power supply PCB Assembly instructions

Mains wiring must be performed by a qualified professional. Do not attempt assembling this power supply unless suitably qualified. Faulty or incorrect mains wiring may result in death or serious injury.

±35V assembly

The PCB uses two separate transformers (or separate secondaries) to provide unstabilized ±35V and stabilized ±15V. For ±35V use 300VA 25V-0-25V transformer . Connect the center-tap to "25V CT" terminal. The RF capacitor must be X2 mains rated. All the wiring should be at least 14ga. "Mute AC" terminal can be used to connect to the amplifier PCB "AC" terminal to provide loss-of-AC detection. PCB has provision for 6 storage capacitors, but 4 will also be fine. Use slow-blow fuses only. If you experience often nuisance blows, increase fuse current rating.

±15V assembly

For supply use a 50VA 15V-0-15V transformer. Connect the center-tap to "15V CT" terminal. PCB allows to use a single bridge rectifier or four 1N4004 dioides. Ground connection terminals are positioned really tight and require use of spade connectors without plastic covers. Use at least 18ga wire (preferably 16ga for ground return).
